You Can Do A Lot With The Word Press Blog
When I found that I had to move my blog to a new web host I had lots of problems trying to follow the instructions that Word Press has on their website.
I was able to move my posts manually and use the sinple default look of Wrod Press. And with a number of other pressing items going on I left it alone. But today I decided just looking at the blog hurt my ego.

So I went to the latest videos that Sherman Hu has done at http://www.wordpresstutorials.com. Was I ever surprised to find that the old videos are gone and new ones are there to show how to use this new version of Word Press (I’m using 2.1 and there is even a newer version out now).
So all the familar items that I remembered from before has changed. Even the template is new. In fact, I found my header is about 20 pixels short so I have to redo it.
But the best part is that yes, you can change the date stamp for any post and comment. And since I had saved my original data base I was able to open it in Word Pad and search to find the correct dates for each. You’ll see them on the blog.
Now just a few more items and it’s finished (except for posting).
